Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American model and a vocalist. She is also the co-star of Prince's 1984 movie Purple Rain. She also appeared on the show called Falcon Crest between 1985-1986. Apollonia was the first artist to release her album in 1988. However, it was a fairly pedestrian mix of dance and R&B music that failed to impress the general public. The album quickly disappeared completely from the public's view. Apollonia continued to perform as an actor (even when it was somewhat under-the-radar) throughout the next decade performing in small television roles and film appearances. There was even an exercise film that made its debut. Apollonia produced a bilingual Spanish/English album that was titled Stay with Me, in 1997. Then, she went back to school and earned an education in filmmaking. In addition, she founded her own production firm. Apollonia wears many different hats. She has been a model, singer-actress and talent supervisor. She is famous for her performance in the film Purple Rain.
